Self-care - Indulgence or necessity?
Recorded webinar - 8th January 2021
A Worth Publishing/ CourseWeDo webinar to start the new term with trainer, ex-Virtual School head, Director of Attuned Education and author of Overcoming Barriers to Learning and Make it Magnificent, Sheila Mulvenney .
Sheila will be focussing on what stops us prioritising self-care and wellbeing, whilst in the thick of caring for everyone else, not only during times of Tiers and Covid ... what self-talk are we holding onto?
Is self-care selfish, an indulgence? Part of New Year Resolutions which quickly fall apart when reality bites?
Or, is self-care actually a necessity, a responsibility even, if we want to be genuinely resilient?
And beyond the tiny things that give us momentary lifts: what are the elements we could consider central to making sure we have a comprehensive and lasting resourcebank?
