Worth Publishing/CourseWeDo interview Alison Woolf, Play Specialist, Therapist, Supervisor, Lecturer Trainer as she discusses her book Better Play, advancing our understanding of the essential importance of play across the lifespan as a means of exploring and experimenting and experiencing life in its fullest sense.

The Book

In this book play specialist, Alison Woolf, brings together much of the theory and research that informs how being playful and supporting play means pupils learn better, adults teach better and everyone feels better! It includes practical strategies for developing our skills in responding to play and for building play and playfulness into schools from nursery classes right through to sixth form. Better Play is a must-read for everyone who works in Education and will change how you think about play wherever and whenever you encounter it!
